About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

This is a part-time position, requiring a minimum of 48 hours per month. You will be responsible for carrying out patrols across the site, conducting thorough vehicle searches, and monitoring fire alarms and CCTV systems.

As a Security Officer, you will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be required to undergo training on security equipment and procedures.

We are looking for individuals who are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about security, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out patrols across the site to ensure the safety and security of clients and assets.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle searches, including freight and tourist vehicles.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems, and carry out routine checks as required.
  • Report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
  • Work collaboratively with other security personnel to ensure the effective operation of security systems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • SIA Licence (desirable)
  • Driving Licence (desirable)
  • 5-year checkable employment history
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
