Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles, preparing and maintaining records of estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the extent of damage to vehicles and prepare detailed estimates
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates and repairs
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authorization for repairs
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair methodologies and timelines
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the bodyshop and other functional areas to ensure efficient and effective repairs
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification in a related field
  • Experience as an Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor in a bodyshop environment
  • Audatex training and certification
  • Full UK driving license
