About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Signal Engineer to join our Consultancy Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of traffic engineering projects across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement traffic signal systems in accordance with current national/local standards, guidance, and best practice.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with traffic engineering projects.
  • Travel to site visits and customer meetings with overnight stays where necessary.
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications.
  • Prepare consultancy/design quotations.
Requirements
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to achieve objectives with strict deadlines and manage your own workload.
  • Technical understanding of traffic signal design fundamentals and UK standards/specifications.
  • Experience in the use of traffic engineering software, including AutoCAD and modelling software such as LinSig or Transyt.
