Job Title: Lead Civil Asset Engineer

CCL Global is seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Asset Engineer to join their team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a small dedicated transverse team within the Civil group, providing technical expertise across various civil building design teams for the HPC Nuclear New Building Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Civil group in providing technical expertise across various civil building design teams.
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, adhering to a project way of working with high expectations on delivery time, schedule, safety, and nuclear safety.
  • Receive, analyze, and verify the consistency of input data.
  • Modify reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with ETC-C and other relevant codes.
  • Maintain client QA procedures in delivering CW design.
  • Work and review with designers in preparing modified design drawings/models.
  • Manage engineering changes in line with company procedures.
  • Liaise with colleagues in Paris and Bristol.

Requirements:

  • Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of Structural Civil Work, Civil Design, and Construction.
  • Experience in Nuclear civil work or complex structures.
  • Experience in the design of concrete structures.
  • Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site.
  • Experience on projects dealing with material interfaces.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with on-site design support.
  • Experience on wide projects.
  • Ability to work independently, be pro-active, and report on and escalate relevant issues.

Languages: Fluent English, French advantageous.
