Job Title: Lead Civil Asset Engineer

CCL Global is seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Asset Engineer to join their team for the HPC Project at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of the Civil group, you will provide technical expertise across multiple civil building design teams for the Nuclear Island of the HPC Nuclear New Building Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support a small dedicated transverse team in providing technical expertise across civil building design teams.
  2. Work in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural environment, adhering to project way of working with high expectations on delivery time, schedule, safety, and nuclear safety.
  3. Receive, analyze, and verify input data, modifying reinforced concrete structure designs as needed.
  4. Maintain client QA procedures in delivering CW design.
  5. Work with designers to prepare design drawings/models and manage engineering changes.
  6. Liaise with colleagues in Paris and Bristol, as well as subject matter experts.
Requirements:
  1. Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  2. Knowledge of Structural Civil Work, Civil Design, and Construction.
  3. Experience in Nuclear civil work or complex structures.
  4. Experience in design of concrete structures.
  5. Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site.
Desirable:
  1. Bachelor's/Master's Degree: Civil Engineering.
  2. Experience with on-site design support.
  3. Ability to work independently, be pro-active, report on, and escalate relevant issues.

Fluent English is required, with French being advantageous.
