Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) Opportunity

Cygnet Kenney House, our new flagship service, is a purpose-built, acute/PICU & mental health rehabilitation facility located in Oldham. Developed in collaboration with the NHS, this service supports women from the North West to receive treatment closer to home.

The PICU and Acute environments offer rapid access to care, enabling women to move quickly and safely through to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting. The mental health rehabilitation and recovery ward (level 2) supports individuals moving on from the Acute ward, as well as external referrals from other services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop, audit, and improve the quality of the service.
  • Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Attend training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing.
  • Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines.
  • Administer prescribed medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, patients, and their support networks.
  • Preparedness to undertake the physical care needs of patients, demonstrating a hands-on approach to nursing care.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and ensuring patient voices are at the forefront of treatment.
