We are seeking a highly skilled Competition Policy and Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Legal and Corporate Affairs team in London, UK.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in antitrust, litigation, regulation, and M&A, with a strong understanding of the telecommunications and media industry in Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting regulatory policy and legal elements of merger control processes
  • Advising on antitrust issues for multi-national M&A matters
  • Providing legal and regulatory guidance on contractual and behavioral competition law matters
  • SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ANTITRUST COMPLIANCE PROGRAMS AND ANTITRUST ELEMENTS OF POLICIES
  • Supporting regulatory aspects in relation to networks, services, products, and consumer in the broadest sense

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Relevant years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or an in-house legal team
  • Excellent advocacy skills and research skills
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to succeed in an environment with high task and role ambiguity
  • Strong prioritization, project management, and time management skills
  • FoCUS ON UNDERSTANDING BUSINESS NEEDS AND DEVELOPING PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS TOWARDS THESE
  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident learner with a willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to changing situations
  • Well-developed sense of business ethics
  • Great interpersonal skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant undergraduate or master's degree in law, economics, or a related field
