About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Test & Validation Engineer to join our team at Otis. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying the root cause of faults across our Major Projects business and providing senior-level technical support with Otis and third-party equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test complex multi-unit sites with highly technical interfaces, including Compass, Elevator Management System (EMS), and third-party destination control systems.
- Provide technical support on site to other engineers for up-skilling, audit handover, and compliance, as well as client liaison during fault-finding activities.
- Assist in technical repair bids when there are special technical requirements.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 4 qualification with experience in the lift industry as a Tester/Technician.
- Electrical and mechanical engineering principles and relevant lift codes, such as EN81 Part 2.
- Basic knowledge of cost control and computer literacy.
