Nursery Education and Development Specialist

A highly regarded nursery in North London is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team on a maternity cover contract.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Teaching and Curriculum:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to children's diverse needs and interests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective educational program.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Child Development and Well-being:
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assessment and Reporting:
- Use observation and assessment tools to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and collaborations.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices.
- Contribute to the development of teaching resources, materials, and assessment strategies.
- Performance and Development:
