Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Inclusion Thurrock Talking Therapies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of clinical staff and providing line management and caseload supervision.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Talking Therapies, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing caseloads. You will be responsible for ensuring that service and individual performance targets are met, identifying and resolving underperformance, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide line management and caseload supervision to Step 2/Step 3 clinical staff within the NHS Talking Therapies Services.
  • Support the Clinical and Operational Leads in planning and organising for the efficient running of the service, delegating activities as required.
  • Promote and maintain links with other staff within the service to help co-ordinate the provision of an effective NHS Talking Therapies Service.
  • Liaise with the Operational and Clinical Leads and other leads to ensure that communication and protocols between these are robust, and that clients experience a seamless, efficient, and effective service.
  • Provide consultation and support to therapists in the management of risk and safety.
  • Provide monthly case load / line management supervision to staff to ensure they are meeting all key KPI requirements of clinical roles.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified and able to provide one High Intensity Talking Therapies intervention: CBT, EMDR, IPT, Counselling for Depression, Couples Counselling for Depression, DIT. OR Post graduate diploma or equivalent qualification in Counselling
  • Accredited with BABCP/UKCP/BACP/NCS
  • Leadership training and qualification ILM
  • Extensive Talking Therapies experience and evidence of working with a range of problems
  • Experience of supervising Talking Therapies staff and/or trainees
