We are delighted to partner with a well-established Accountancy Practice in Wigan, seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to take their career to the next level.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice, with a strong background in preparing accounts, corporation tax computations, and personal tax returns. AAT qualification or late-stage AAT with ACCA or ACA qualification is essential. Excellent communication skills and experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks are also required.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
- Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns
- General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients
- Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks

Requirements- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice
