Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

ProTalent is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to manage a portfolio of clients, oversee the preparation of financial accounts, and provide business advice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards, as well as experience managing a portfolio of clients, including the preparation of accounts and tax returns.

The Role:

* Manage a portfolio of clients, including SMEs and larger businesses
* Oversee the preparation of financial accounts and provide business advice
* Prepare and review financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in accordance with UK GAAP
* Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations
* Assist clients with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Attend client meetings to discuss financial performance and offer advice on business strategy

Requirements:

* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards
* Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including the preparation of accounts and tax returns
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to work, with a focus on delivering high-quality service
