About the Role

Fleet Tutors is a leading provider of alternative and supplementary education services, supporting children from all backgrounds through one-to-one and tailored small group tuition programmes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tutor to join our team, providing dedicated support to learners in Maths, English, and Science subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in Maths, English, and Science subjects, creating engaging and inspiring lesson plans.
  • Monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learner guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
