Job Opportunity: Year 5 Teacher

Wayman Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 teacher to join our team of experienced educators. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

About the Role:

  • As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for the academic and personal development of a class of students, promoting a love of learning and a growth mindset.
  • You will teach a range of subjects, including mathematics, English, and science, and develop engaging lesson plans to cater to the needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social-emotional learning and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
