Strategic Mental Health Programme Lead
This is a pivotal role in embedding and accelerating progress in mental health strategy implementation. As the Programme Lead, you will be the 'glue' that holds the system together, initiating, aligning and directly supporting a wide range of programmes. You will work closely with local authorities, ICBs, NHS providers, police, and VCSE organisations to determine which issues need system-wide attention and resolution.
About the Role
You will be responsible for translating complex programmes into clear, practical delivery plans, and influencing key individuals and organisations at a strategic level. You will need to have a sound understanding of system governance and its complexities, as well as the ability to develop strong, trusting relationships at all levels.
Requirements
- Educated to RQF level 6 (degree level) or equivalent by experience
- Expert knowledge in mental health and continuing professional development
- Ability to operate effectively at a strategic level, influencing key individuals and organisations
