Physical Metals Associate

We are seeking a Physical Metals Associate to assist with settlements, handling all the clearing and arranging physical shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review transactions to ensure completion of daily volumes
  2. Research and resolve discrepancies and issues escalating to manager as required
  3. Prepare, check, and dispatch invoices to clients within required timelines
  4. Process daily metals settlements and customers' metal transfer requests
  5. Update financial and inventory systems for trades and transfer requests
  6. Review quality certificates to ensure delivered commodities meet contractual tolerances

Requirements:

  1. 4-6 years of relevant experience in Precious and Base Metals
  2. Knowledge of LME and LBMA settlements
  3. Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements
  4. Good communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
