We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Metals Associate to join our team at Goodman Masson.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing transactions to ensure daily volumes are completed.
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies and escalating issues to the manager as needed.
  • Preparing, checking, and dispatching invoices to clients within the required timeline.
  • Processing daily metals settlements and customer metal transfer requests.
  • Updating financial and inventory systems for trades and transfer requests, and retaining supporting documents for future reference.
  • Reviewing quality certificates to ensure delivered commodities meet contractual tolerance, and verifying shipping documentation and invoices are in order.

For this role, you will need:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in both Precious Metals and Base Metals.
  • Knowledge of LME and LBMA Settlement.
  • Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
