Airport Sous Chef Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Sodexo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain quality and consistency in food production.

* Help manage inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.

* Monitor food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

* Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our offerings.

**Requirements**

* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

* Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff.

* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

* A creative mindset with the ability to contribute to menu development and special events.
