About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Sous Chef to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service in our airport locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage all food service areas to ensure prompt and efficient service to our customers.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality across all locations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and operations, to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings and service standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
