Educational Support Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at Academics. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in a primary school setting with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to children with special needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet their unique needs.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring the child's active participation.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging and self-confidence.
* Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to develop individualised learning plans for the child.
* Monitor and assess the children's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and parents.
Requirements
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and resources for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with the class teacher, parents, and external professionals.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for empowering every child to succeed.
* Either live in Westminster or within a commutable distance
