At Initialize IT, we are embarking on an exciting project to implement a new ERP system. As an Enterprise Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in this programme by eliciting and documenting requirements and assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst who can hit the ground running and become effective quickly. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' solid experience in Business Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit and define business, financial, and operational requirements for both project work and 'business as usual' tasks through interviews or user requirements gathering via meetings, questionnaires, or site visits.
  • Model the output using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods within a detailed specification.
  • Create new process flows for operational procedures, e.g., on-boarding new staff, managing staff moves, provision of user support.
  • Carry out testing (unit, system, regression) and co-ordinate UAT, involving writing detailed use cases, scenarios, and test cases.
  • Participate in or contribute to user support via our global service desk as and when required.

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of written English and be able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and technical members of interdisciplinary teams. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in the field of Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or 3 years' equivalent work experience.
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience.
  • Experience writing and executing test cases.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
