About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing a product or set of existing Consumer health insurance products to ensure they meet the demands and needs of our customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define strategy and deliver product and process change across the customer journey from acquisition to retention.
- Own the product suite strategy, leading new and existing product development.
- Manage all stages of the product lifecycle, including product governance activities.
- Measure and monitor performance and implement appropriate remedial action.
- Be the primary contact for all aspects of external and internal product enquiries.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the health insurance industry and economic climate, our customers' needs, and the regulatory and competitive landscape.
- Plan and lead delivery of product-related initiatives via cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business, including pricing, finance, legal, and compliance, operations, Change, IT, and marketing.
- Line management of one direct report.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
- Experience in product management, preferably in a large, regulated organization.
- Able to inspire and deliver innovative solutions through cross-functional teams.
- Experience in major aspects of the marketing mix, particularly product and service design.
- Credibility to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Results-focused, with effective interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Solid working knowledge of Change/Transformation processes and governance.
