Nursery Leadership Team Member

Tops Day Nurseries is a reputable childcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality education and care to young children.
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at our purpose-built nursery, which provides a safe and stimulating environment for 104 children aged 3 months to five years.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with EYFS and Ofsted regulations, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a unit, working closely with specialists in areas such as behaviour management, SENCo, H&S rep, and equal opportunities.
- Develop and implement programmes tailored to individual children's needs and stage/development requirements.
- Establish effective communication channels with parents to ensure timely fee payment and satisfactory care provision.
- Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and job satisfaction.
- Support the Nursery Manager during absences and assume overall responsibility for the childcare centre.
- Uphold the highest standards of child safeguarding.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is mandatory. Relevant leadership or supervisory experience, along with knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted regulations, is necessary.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from £14.00 to £15.40 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
