Accounting Officer Job Role

In this role, you will manage financial transactions in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include processing invoices, resolving supplier queries, managing vendor accounts, and performing reconciliations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verifying Invoice Details: Check invoice details such as PO numbers and VAT to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicating with Suppliers: Resolve issues and maintain open dialogue with suppliers.
  • Setting Up and Updating Vendor Accounts: Manage vendor accounts, handle credit notes, and detect duplicate invoices.
  • Matching Supplier Statements: Regularly match supplier statements to ensure record accuracy.
Essential Requirements
  • Finance Operations Experience: Must have experience working in a busy finance environment with high transaction volumes.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills: Comfortable with intermediate Excel functions.
  • Error-Free Work: Enjoy getting things right and identifying errors.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Able to work with different teams across the company to maintain smooth operations.
  • SAP Knowledge: While not essential, SAP experience would be beneficial.
