Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Control Room Operative to join our team. As a Control Room Operative, you will be responsible for monitoring alarms, coordinating security responses, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Data Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor alarms and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate security responses with manned guarding teams and emergency services.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks and security threats.
  • Audit and maintain equipment to minimize risks to the client.
  • Liaise with emergency services in response to fire, intruder, and duress alarm activations.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in alarm monitoring in a multi-functional control room.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality incident reports.
  • Competent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web applications.
  • Five years' checkable history and references.
  • Pass a criminal records check to the required standards.
  • Willingness to take development training to further your skillset.
