Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team in Brackley. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects, from planning to completion. Your primary focus will be on site management, quality control, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with site management, technical specialists, and commercial staff to ensure project delivery meets quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure project specifications are met.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, designers, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in civil engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
