About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to provide cover across Year 7-11 pupils in various lessons in our partner schools. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the behaviour of students during lessons, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to maintain continuity in learning, and providing support to students in their learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising and managing the behaviour of students during lessons
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to maintain continuity in learning
  • Providing support to students in their learning activities
  • Managing classroom resources and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues arising during the day
Requirements
  • Confident approach working with Secondary Age Pupils (age 11 - 16 years)
  • Semi-comfortable with creative subjects such as Art, Design or Food Technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is essential
