About the Role

The Front of House is a pivotal position at The Openwork Partnership, embodying the essence of our business and setting the stage for an exceptional first impression for guests, advisers, and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and determine their needs in a professional manner.
  • Monitor people coming and going through the reception doors and manage the security process.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide general ad-hoc support to the Facilities Manager and catering team.
  • Ensure the Reception area is kept clean and tidy to a standard fitting with the Openwork image.
  • Work with the Facilities Assistant to set up meeting rooms and organise equipment.
  • Support the evacuation process in cases of emergency.
  • Liaise with Taxis and Couriers.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager on various tasks and be available when the Head of Facilities is out of office.
  • Organise lunches with the catering supplier.
  • Work with external facilities providers to organise events.
  • Organise guest WiFi.
  • Manage portal changes.
  • Administer the Paxton Badge System.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Shows initiative and can work unsupervised at times.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Excellent personal organisation skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of a facility background (desirable).
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall (desirable).
  • Responds professionally to visitors and callers.
  • Maintains confidentiality and shows discretion.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • Represents the company in an ethical and professional manner.
