Job Title: Cost Assurance Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Assurance Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Cost Assurance Consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvement and efficiency, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide a view on their ways of working.
  • Analyze and understand complex construction contracts.
  • Plan financial audits by understanding client objectives and risk areas, as well as supply chain structure, policies, and processes.
  • Perform data testing using smart techniques and tools such as data visualization and trend/pattern analysis.
  • Produce findings reports that deliver key findings, recommendations, and messages in a succinct and professional manner.
  • Foster good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.
  • Assist in maintaining internal systems to ensure commission and financial management is compliant with business processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience or a sound understanding of data analysis, time management, assessment of accuracy and entitlement to costs, report writing, construction industry technical matters, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle a variable workload.
