Financial Administrator

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a Sefton secondary school who require an experienced Financial Administrator for a temporary role.
The school require the Financial Administrator to have experience in finance, sims, and purchase ledger, including processing invoices and payment runs. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to lead in the accurate recording and monitoring of VAT and aid in the timely production of any statutory returns.
The Financial Administrator will be responsible for month end procedures and reconciliations, posting transactions and journals to the accounting system, monitoring departmental budgets and liaising with budget holders, cash management, trip management, and assisting with debt management when necessary.
The Financial Administrator will also ensure the finance system is used effectively and ensure value for money at all times.
The essentials for registration include an Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or being prepared to undertake a new one, a full and complete career history, a minimum of 2 references including the most recent employment reference, and a legal right to work in the UK.
