The position of Physics and Science Educator at EdEx is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated teacher to lead and grow the Physics department. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a large team of Science teachers.

About the Role

  • To specialize in KS4 & KS5 Physics only, leading and growing Physics throughout the School.
  • To work alongside 2 other Physics Teachers, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver outstanding results.
  • To take on additional responsibilities as Head of Physics, with opportunities for future lead practitioner roles.

Requirements

  • A strong academic record, including UK QTS or equivalent qualifications.
  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a large team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

">

The salary for this role is £36,571 - £59,135, with an additional £10,000 for the Head of Physics responsibility. Other benefits include modern and creative facilities, impressive Progress 8 results, and impeccable behavior throughout the School.
