Science Teacher Opportunity

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to students, fostering their curiosity and passion for the subject. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to foster improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievements.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student behavior and academic performance.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching and learning practices.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student development.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with current research and best practices in science education.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
