Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment are recruiting for a Tax Manager on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in the UK. They boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.
- Drafting reports and letters of advice for various tax advisory issues.
- Training and reviewing work of more junior members of staff.
- Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes.
- Advising owner managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning.
- Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns.
- Advising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
- If you are not CTA qualified, you must be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA.
- Experience with corporate taxes is essential and experience in other areas of tax will also be beneficial.
- You may currently be working in an accounts/audit team with a strong interest in tax advisory, or you may already be working within a dedicated tax team.
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets.
- A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.
