Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Worthing. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with HMRC on clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters.
- Draft reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues.
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice.
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings with team members.
- Train and review the work of junior team members.
- Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, staff incentive schemes.
- Advising owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning, succession planning.
- Preparing research and development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns.
- Advising individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
- Candidates must be CTA qualified or AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA.
- Experience with corporate taxes is essential, and experience in other areas of tax is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.
- A highly competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience and background.
- A mix of home and office-based work.
