We are seeking a talented Corporate Financial Specialist to join our finance team at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to management.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Financial Specialist to lead our finance team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, collaborating with the Director of Finance & Business Support to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes, and leading and managing the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance & Business Support to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous hotel experience in a finance role
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with clients, guests, suppliers, teammates/management, in person, in writing and on the telephone
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
