Registered Nurse Opportunity at The Fleet Care Home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at The Fleet Care Home in Dartmouth, Devon. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
  • Lead and guide your care team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions and ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor resident health and well-being, and manage specific health needs.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with MAR sheets and protocols.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote independence and support residents in daily activities.
  • Act on feedback and prioritize resident health and well-being.
  • Champion respect and dignity for every resident.
  • Encourage engagement and social interactions among residents.
  • Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment.
  • Support balanced nutrition and hydration, and monitor residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
  • Respond to emergencies and utilize reflective practices to continually improve our care.

About You:

  • You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
  • You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor.
