SEN Support Assistant

About the Role:
Future Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth. As an SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN in various subjects
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to implement EHCP's and tailor lessons to meet specific learning needs
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected
- Assist students with daily tasks and personal care when required
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive student behavior
- Offer emotional and pastoral support, helping students build confidence and self-esteem
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Utilize assistive technology and adaptive resources to enhance the learning experience for students with SEN
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and commitment to their academic and personal growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Previous experience working with individuals with SEN is advantageous but not mandatory
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience
