Talent & Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Talent & Development Coordinator to join our Head Office team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the Talent & Development team, you will play a vital role in coordinating all Talent and Development activities and events, as well as providing administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecast and plan mandatory and optional learning events in line with learner requirements and data analytics, working in partnership with the HR Data team.
  • Liaise with external venues and training providers to make full arrangements for offsite/virtual learning events, within budgetary constraints.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Head Office employees by dealing with queries promptly and escalating/forwarding as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, including maintaining a supply of Welcome Boxes and sending them out within correct timescales.
  • Support the Talent & Development team and wider HR team in designing on-brand and up-to-date learning material and resources.
  • Take responsibility for the back-of-house administration function of several external training portals and platforms.
  • Be the main point of contact to coordinate Head Office work experience students in conjunction with the Leicestershire Education Business Centre (LEBC) and PAs across Head Office.
  • Support the implementation of a brand new Learning Management / Experience Platform (LMS/LXP) into Head Office, with focus on the back-of-house administration functions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a large and varied workload and be flexible when priorities change.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of the direct and wider HR team.
