About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSEQ) professional to join our Marine Consenting and Environment team. As an HSEQ Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our offshore projects, providing expert guidance and support to our project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSEQ management systems in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure HSEQ compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate HSEQ risks, providing up-to-date project statistics for inclusion in required reporting.
  • Attend client site visits, meetings, and audits, as well as internal field team visits, to assess regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a focal point and role model for the HSEQ function within the Marine Consenting and Environment business unit.
  • Collaborate with senior teams to drive the continuous improvement of HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Interface with RPS Energy's HSEQ Manager and other business divisional HSEQ Managers to ensure best practice is adopted and implemented.
Requirements
  • Nationally recognized health and safety qualification (e.g., Nebosh).
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and auditing ISO compliant management systems.
  • Experience of providing HSEQ guidance, supporting field survey planning and operations offshore and occasionally onshore.
  • Clean UK driving license, with travel required throughout our regions.
  • Previous experience working in the energy sector is an advantage.
