HR Engagement Specialist

Location: Malvern, PA

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Balfour Beatty by enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture to increase retention and make Balfour Beatty a great place to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and present New Hiring Manager training on best practices for onboarding new employees.
- Create and send all managers with best practices for new hires, transfers, and promotions.
- Build an employee engagement committee to help brainstorm best practices and ideas with support from site teams and Operations leaders.
- Focus on high turnover sites and provide ideas and participate in team building activities.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications as well as Training and Development to initiatives that support employee engagement.
- Analyze and create action plans with HRBPs from 30-day employee surveys.
- Support needs of HR for Employee Engagement Survey.
Requirements:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in pursuit of Human Resources or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources role (i.e., recruiting, onboarding or generalist).
- Understanding HR practices and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Process oriented.
- Ability to travel 50% of time.
- Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license and safe driving record are required.
