Job Title: Anaesthetic Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Consultant to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Department of Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing general, major, and high-risk surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior medical staff
  • Take an active role in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the department's business plan
  • Be aware of and comply with all Trust infection prevention and control policies
  • Be accountable for the implementation of the Code of Practice within your department/area of responsibility
Requirements:
  • Full Registration with the GMC and completed subspecialty training programme in anaesthesia
  • Eligible to apply for a Substantive Consultant post - CCT or within 6 months of completion
  • Wide experience in the delivery of anaesthesia for general, major, and high-risk surgery
  • Award of CCT or equivalent
