About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Sampling Quality Coordinator at Northumbrian Water. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining the UKAS quality systems across our Water Operations Regulatory Sampling teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all aspects of the Water Sampling team's UKAS 17025 accredited procedures.
  • Work in partnership with Operational Sampling Supervisors, coordinating quality and health and safety processes and sampling software packages for water sampling operations.
  • Ensure that both regulatory and operational sampling programs are collected in accordance with HSE/DWI/UKAS requirements.
  • Manage and maintain sampling devices and software packages for Remote Sampler and AQC Tools.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/suppliers, including the Accreditation, Laboratory, and Water Quality teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with a science-based background and experience in working in a regulatory environment with demonstrable experience of working to UKAS accredited procedures and performing root cause analysis.

We are seeking a candidate with good communication skills, the ability to organize their own workload and prioritize tasks, and a customer-focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with laboratory or sampling software packages such as AQCTOOLS, Coruson, Remote Sampler, and LIMS.
