About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Chelmsford. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure deadlines and budgets are met, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of audits, including field work, and ensure high-quality results.
  • Work collaboratively with the Audit Manager to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support junior staff in their learning and development, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to the development of the audit team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualification with previous audit experience within practice.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff.
