We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote the development of children towards key milestones.
About the Role
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans for each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to all relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment that supports the well-being of all children.
Requirements
- Hold a Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Have previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery setting.
- Demonstrate a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Be able to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
- Utilize a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
