We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote the development of children towards key milestones.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans for each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to all relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment that supports the well-being of all children.

Requirements

  • Hold a Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Have previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery setting.
  • Demonstrate a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Be able to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
  • Utilize a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
