About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team at Woodlands Recruitment Solutions. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing AC and DC motor control systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair AC and DC motor control systems at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to motor controls on a wide variety of machinery
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients across a variety of industries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product and service quality
  • Follow electrical and mechanical codes, manufacturers' guidance, and operating manuals to maintain safety and compliance
  • Collaborate with other engineers to coordinate installation and where appropriate repairs
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and documents
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, whilst complying with the Company's Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Add-hock project work
  • Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the management
Requirements
  • Proven experience with AC and DC motors, servo and motor controls
  • Detailed knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and safety
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
  • The aptitude and attitude to fit into a growing business in a technical field
