Job Title: Electrical Field Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Engineer to join our team at Woodlands Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing AC and DC motor control systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain AC and DC motor control systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to motor controls on a wide variety of machinery.
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to clients across various industries.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product and service quality.
  5. Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical codes, manufacturers' guidelines, and operating manuals.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers to coordinate installation and repairs.
  7. Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and documents.
  8. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to the Company's Health and Safety requirements.
  9. Perform ad-hoc project work as required.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience with AC and DC motors, servo, and motor controls.
  2. Detailed knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and safety.
  3. Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  5. Aptitude and attitude to fit into a growing business in a technical field.
