Regent's Park Healthcare, a leading managed cardiac services provider, seeks an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team at the Peninsula Heart Clinic in Plymouth, UK.
**Job Summary**
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional to work in our state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a catheter lab setting and be registered as an RN (General) or HCPC registered ODP.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Cardiac Catheterization Specialist will be responsible for:
- Assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Preparing patients for procedures and maintaining a safe and sterile environment
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to senior staff
- Participating in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical skills and knowledge
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A valid registration as an RN (General) or HCPC registered ODP
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a catheter lab setting
- Intermediate Life Support certification
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills
**Salary and Benefits**
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, and opportunities for career development.
