About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trading Operations Specialist to join our team at Nicoll Curtin. As a Trading Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Support: Provide daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trading activity to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Automation: Design and implement automated processes and tools to enhance trading efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and develop new processes using technical skills such as Go and SQL.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, promoting open communication and a non-hierarchical culture.
  • Cash and Collateral Management: Manage cash and collateral across multiple brokers to ensure optimal liquidity and risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related STEM field.
  • 2-10 years of relevant industry experience in a trading operations role.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Programming experience in Python, Go, or related languages for automation and data manipulation (SQL).
