About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in the North East Community Mental Health service. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs, providing skilled nursing support, and effective care planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs, providing skilled nursing support and effective care planning and implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nurse Team Leader and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide supervision to junior staff and take charge in the absence of the Nurse Team Leader.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers to ensure person-centered care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent communication and organizational skills, experience working in a mental health setting, and a current driving license. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
