Community Mental Health Nurse Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Nursing Team in Dumfries and Galloway.
About the Role: As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will work with individuals who present with moderate to severe mental health issues, providing assessment, support, advice, and interventions to promote recovery and sustained wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Work closely with patients, carers, and colleagues across the health and social care partnership.
- Develop strong therapeutic relationships and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of safe and effective clinical assessment for patients accessing the Community mental health service.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, effective clinical decision-making, and the ability to work in a busy clinical team. You will also need to hold a Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification and NMC PIN.
